By working more closely together across our system we will be in a stronger position to tackle some of our biggest health needs and challenges with the way in which we provide services and deliver high quality care.

The Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) – known as the Lancashire and South Cumbria Health and Care Partnership – is a partnership of NHS organisations, local councils, voluntary, community and faith sector organisations, public sector and local communities, made up of five local partnerships:

  • Central Lancashire.
  • Fylde Coast.
  • Morecambe Bay.
  • Pennine Lancashire.
  • West Lancashire.

The aims of the ICP are to join up health and care services, listen to the priorities of local people and tackle some of the biggest challenges we are all facing.

By working in partnership across Lancashire and South Cumbria we have a greater opportunity to integrate how we plan, design and provide services collectively to reduce variation and provide a consistent approach to delivering health and care services which empowers communities to live and age well.

As the West Lancashire Partnership, we will work closely with the four other place-based partnerships across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Where it makes sense to do things once, then we will. It’s all about avoiding duplication and making the best of our collective resources for the benefit of people living and working in West Lancashire.
